Garden updates: June edition

I'll start by saying I'm surprised at the amount of plants that have survived this round. I'd say about 80% of my garden is still ticking. The only thing that really epically bit the dust were my pea plants, which seem to have fallen to some sort of blight.

I'm still not entirely sure what's in the McCoy pottery. My best guest is amaranth, which means it's either going to just remain sprouts at that amount or burst through the planter like the Incredible Hulk.

I ended up with eight sunflowers. Not sure if I bought a dwarf variety or if they're like goldfish and grow to the size of their container. Either way, they're about to bloom.

The herbs seem to be flourishing. At Joel's request we bought some flowers called candytufts, and those have just started blooming. There were some more flower seed packets I haven't planted yet, and I'm a little worried it's too late at this point. Then again, a lot of things are possible in zone 7.
